Robert Welch Wedding Gift Guide

This is a paid partnership in collaboration with Robert Welch.

With the Royal Wedding taking place tomorrow – which I’m very excited for – I’m a total sucker for a Royal Wedding, a Royal Baby, you name it… and my own wedding on the horizon, okay it’s over a year away but still… any chance to drop the W word in there. But now I think about it, this is actually my first wedding themed post – don’t worry there’s plenty more to come! But back on track… the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tomorrow seemed like the perfect time to share my luxury wedding gift guide -so I’ve teamed up with Robert Welch to share my favourite bits from their stunning collection.

I hadn’t really thought about our wedding gift list or what we might ask for before Robert Welch got in touch but this was the perfect opportunity for me to get my thinking cap on. I’m fortunate to have a lot of bits for the home, and whilst a lot of newly weds might be getting their first home together and collecting homewares from scratch, a lot of couples in this day and age do live together before they get married so it’s likely that they like me perhaps have a good starting collection. In which case, their (and my) wedding list isn’t going to be full of items they need, so much as items they want. Items they would probably never splurge on themselves but have been on their wishlist for years, which is why today’s post is a luxury, high end gift guide. Each piece is high end, perfect for gifting and fantastic quality so will last a marriage too!

Of course one of the most obvious wedding gifts for a couple is champagne glasses – but why not go a step further and add to their existing stemware and extend the barware range to add a touch of luxury? The Drift Champagne Bucket is a stunning piece on it’s own, even without bottles, it’s such an elegant piece that it wouldn’t look out of place even when not being used. Teamed with the Drift Serving Tray and you’ve got a winning duo for your champagne celebrations right there!

The next thing that I love and that I think is a lovely piece to symbolise a union is the Windrush Candlestick Holders – the two candlestick holders intertwine with one another. Beautifully crafted they look like a piece of art.

One thing that I could never justify buying for myself (because the good quality ones are always expensive) is a set of kitchen knives, although I have no doubt that they would be totally worth it – there’s nothing more annoying than prepping your dinner with useless knives is there?! But this is why it would make a great gift – the Robert Welch Signature Knife Block Set is a damn fine looking thing, but as well as being the sharpest, solidest knives ever – it’s a great investment – something you will get use out of every day – and did I mention that all Robert Welch’s products have a 25 year guarantee? It’s always reassuring to know isn’t it!

Similarly to the knife set, my pots and pans collections is all over the place – but I don’t think I would ever treat myself to a fancy matching set. Most of mine I’ve collated over the years from supermarkets and such places – cheap pans here and there that aren’t the best and it means I have a totally mismatched collection. Wouldn’t it be lovely to have a full matching cookware set?! I’d feel so posh. The Campden Cookware even won an award for best buy! Stunning pans, just look at them shine!

Last but not least – a cutlery set. Robert Welch are very well known for their cutlery – in fact you might even say they are experts on the subject, so they know a thing or too. This is the sleek Kingham Bright 24 Piece Cutlery Set – which is gorgeous, but they have a huge range of other styles too here. Also the children’s cutlery is just adorable – so grown up but still small enough for tiny hands! Again, cutlery is something you use every day of your life so a great investment and a great gift!
