Dunelm 5A Fifth Avenue

If you live in the UK then you have most likely found yourself going up and down the aisles in Dunelm, and probably, like me, on more than one occasion. Now we all know you can find an absolute bargain in Dunelm, they have everything you could need from the basics like bedding to finishing touches to transform your house into a home – but all at a totally affordable price. But lately Dunelm have been launching some seriously gorgeous bits amongst their new collections – my favourite of which is the 5A Fifth Avenue Collection – which I got my first taste of last year, remember this glassware I got just before Christmas? The 5A Fifth Avenue collection is filled with elegant, luxurious items – and most importantly, lots of gold and blush so naturally it’s right up my street.

With the launch of the brand new SS18 Collections, Dunelm very kindly asked me to join their style squad to help showcase my favourite pieces – and this will be a two part blog post, so stay tuned for the dining area styling coming in a few weeks time!

My absolute favourite piece from the entire collection is my new Fabor Frosted Glass Champagne Ceiling Light – it’s got a real art deco feel to it which I adore. I’ve gone for a real feminine feel in the living room with the blush velvet armchairs so this felt like the perfect feature light for the centre of the room. If I had my own dressing room (one day please please please) this would definitely be my choice of lighting for in there. Stunning. Seriously, I can’t get enough of it.

The rest of the pieces I went for in here are smaller accessories – I finally have a fishbowl vase after wanting one for about 5 years! But I feel like fishbowl vases are a staple piece to have when styling any coffee table, and this one is a steal at £5! Dunelm also launched this gold frame hourglass – now, if I’m totally honest, I’ve always thought hourglasses are great for decoration, but would you actually use them for what they are intended for? Well I do actually intend on using it. In the hope of helping me work more efficiently in the evenings, rather than spending all evening on my laptop, I’m going to spend an hour (power hour) every evening solely doing work – no tv, no scrolling through Instagram, basically, no procrastinating! So here’s to hoping that it’s practical as well as pretty!

I’m such a sucker for a cute new mug (tea lover over here) – especially if there’s gold foil involved, so this blush baby was a definite yes – more from this gorgeous tableware collection coming next week so keep your eyes peeled!

Now I think we all know you can never have too many photo frames – and if they’re gold, even better – these bamboo frames are a little bit different – and even if you created a gorgeous gallery wall with lots of them, you wouldn’t break the bank as they’re such a great price (from £4-£9)!

Finally, what’s a homeware order without a new candle?! I honestly light a candle every single evening that I’m home – don’t multi wick candles make you feel all fancy?! No? Just me? Well I love this Rachel Vosper essence candle regardless…

So what do you make of the new bits from the 5A Collection? I’m in love and there’s still more to come… I’ll be back in a few weeks focussing on the dining area…
