Come Dine With TK Maxx + £100 Giftcard Giveaway

Come Dine With TK Maxx

Last week I was contacted by TK Maxx and challenged to head into my local TK Maxx store and shop for homewares to create the ultimate home dining experience… obviously I said yes. I love TK Maxx. I don’t think I’ve ever gone into a TK Maxx and come out empty handed… and the home section is always amazing.

On Friday night straight after work I headed to my local TK Maxx, grabbed a trolley and started scanning the aisles with the outlook, “find exactly what you weren’t looking for.” I was a little worried that I wouldn’t find everything I needed in one store, but boy was I wrong, there’s huge range of designer accessories and homewares for every room in the home, whatever your taste and whatever the budget, all perfect for creating a welcoming feel in the home – which is especially important when entertaining guests. I knew I needed bowls, plates, glasses, a bread board, and then a few home furnishings to add the finishing cosy touches, a few cushions, a throw and some candles should do the trick!

I’m not the most colourful person as you know which is why I was pretty boring when it came to the plates but I added a bit of Spring colour to the table with these Moroccan style bowls which I just love. Okay so I was originally on the hunt for glasses but as soon as I saw these copper mugs I couldn’t risk someone else picking them up so in my trolley they went, who said you need to be in a kooky bar to have copper mugs? Then I came across these adorable mini copper pans and I just knew this was going to turn into a copper themed dining table – these are probably supposed to be used for actually cooking but I thought they’d make alternative bowls for dessert, and they did! As soon as I saw the glass drink dispenser, I had to have it – perfect for entertaining, especially with summer on the horizon. Bread board, check! And with a dipping section – perfect! Next up a few homely accessories, I was over the moon when I found these Mongolian sheepskin cushions – and at £29.99, there’s no way I was ever going to find Mongolian cushions at that price ever again, and cozy throw I just can’t resist so this tasseled beauty went straight in the trolley. COPPER CANDLES YAY! The perfect finishing touch for entertaining, dinner would not be complete without candles.

Lastly – I couldn’t leave the dogs out could I? Alfie and Bean had their very own Come Dine With Me with their new snazzy gold dog bowls!

Come Dine With TK Maxx Menu:

To start – Chicken Soup

For Main – Garlic Prawn Linguine with Muscles

To Finish – Sticky Toffee Pudding/Treacle Sponge

And it was delish.

Thank you TK Maxx for helping me find everything I needed to create the perfect dinner! My guests are definitely going to be grateful too.

My number one TK Maxx Tip – What you see is what we they have in stock, and they won’t get it back in stock. All stock is on the floor, nothing is in the back of the store, i.e. it stock goes straight from the lorry onto the shop floor. So if you see something you love, don’t hesitate, grab a bargain before someone else does before you! Once it’s gone its gone!

Right now TK Maxx has extra deliveries of home products in store (and online in the UK), from entertaining to home decor – so snap it up while it lasts!
