DFS Capsule Collection

DFS Capsule Collection

If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you may remember that earlier last month I was invited to London with DFS to the launch of their Capsule Collection, which I’m sharing with you today – but before we get to that, I just had to show off my new cushion which arrived this week. I designed this cushion during a masterclass with the DFS textile team along with five other lovely bloggers, you can see what my design looked like on the day below and now that it’s come to life in velvet! I was definitely going for a Dalmatian print inspired design but I’m not sure if it actually looks more like cow hide? But I love it regardless, even more so knowing that I designed it myself! So cool!

Back to the sofas though… The DFS Capsule Collection is a fresh, contemporary range of sofas designed with smaller spaces in mind – so perfect especially for those living in cities, maybe in apartments, or just those with more awkward spaces to play with. DFS have even thought about getting the sofas into difficult entries, so each sofa also comes with compact arm widths and bolt-off removable arms, to ensure the whole range can easily be delivered and installed, regardless of narrow stairways or small doorframes.

The collection consists of four styles of sofas, three armchairs and three footstools – all available in 45 different fabric options which means everything is completely customisable to you, and then made to order just for you, and the sofas start from just £399 – which is a bloody great price for a sofa if you ask me! DFS have even brought out accessories to style the sofas with, including seasonally refreshed cushion prints, meaning they will always be on trend.

You can see the sofas below, oh and – my very own Lull sofa will be arriving on my doorstep very soon for me to style up myself! Excited is not even the word, I’ve been wanting a new sofa for 3 years and counting now!

    Hi there
I am considering the laze sofa from dfs capsule collection in herringbone grey material. I just wondering how you are getting on with yours? do the cushions stay on? comfy for tv / movie watching? feel small? any top tips welcome to help me make a decision as minimal reviews out there.
    thanks

Hi Alice, I am also considering the same sofa and wondered if you had gone ahead with your purchase and if so what you thought? It looks lovely and just the perfect size for what we need. Many thanks.

Hi Alice and Jules, same here – considering Laze or Lull but wondering about comfort mostly.. I can also recommend looking through the websites Swoon Editions (the most amazing products ever) and MADE.com.. There is too many pretty ones and still can’t decide but Laze and Lull are very well priced – that’s why not sure about how comfortable they would be. Any help at all would be helpful, if you’ve ordered yours or heard anything about it?
