Well I would love to tell you all that the Wedding planning has been a total joy so far, that I’m soaking up and enjoying every second of it (like I’ve been advised to) but I am quickly learning that wedding planning is actually incredibly stressful.

On a positive note, I am fortunate enough to have one seriously wonderful set of parents, who have listened, advised, and helped with everything so far, but no doubt it has definitely caused them some stress along the way too… which is why I have decided to give back a little with notonthehighstreet #LoveThoughtfully campaign, to say thank you, I appreciate you both and everything you are doing to help with the wedding.

#LoveThoughtfully

This year, NOTHS wants to inspire people to ‘give a little love, to all those we love‘ and to show loved ones just how much we care. Whether it’s the best friend who’s had the worst year ever, the mini me’s you simply can’t imagine life without or for poor Fido who got demoted when the little one arrived, notonthehighstreet has thoughtful ideas to have them feeling truly adored long after Valentine’s Day #LoveThoughtfully.

I didn’t tell my parent’s about this, surprises are always the best after all aren’t they? I got everything ready and told them to be at my house for 3pm on Sunday for afternoon tea. But what they weren’t expecting alongside a cup of tea was a table full of confetti and gifts, personalised biscuits and giant confetti balloons -surprises really are my favourite, I love watching people’s reactions!

Needless to say they enjoyed the surprise and I loved surprising them.

I hope this has inspired you to show those in need of a dose of love just how much you care about them this Valentine’s and beyond, and don’t forget to share your moment with the hashtag #LoveThoughtfully
