Now before you continue reading, this is not a house plant guide of any sort, this is plain and simply me, an (unintentional) serial plant killer – sharing all the plants that I have by some miracle, managed not to kill this last year, so if I can keep them alive – you definitely can!
Now I actually shot these photos a couple of months ago in November and whilst I have managed to keep the rest alive, the Ficus did not make it through the winter… not entirely sure what I did wrong there but RIP Ficus. Don’t worry I’m not even going to attempt to go into detail about how to care for each plant, because let’s face it, it’s just as much of a miracle to me that they’re still alive… basically I just try not to underwater them and at the same time try not to overwater them and hope for the best! If your fingers are far from green like mine, that’s probably the most information you will want anyway, but if you do feel like educating yourself a little more on house plants then I highly recommend this book: How Not to Kill Your Houseplant – Survival Tips for the Horticulturally Challenged.
The best part about all of these plants is that they are all reasonably priced and they’re all available from eBay – I’ve popped all the links below for each plant!

Love that Calathea Medallion! Also, your Pilea is having babies, how cute. Does this mean you’re going to have to re-pot them? I’d definitely kill it at that stage.
Beautiful photography, thanks for the book tip!
Love this post! I’m not very green fingered but given the great value of these plants and how easy they sound to care for, you’ve inspired me!
You’re styling and photography is A* as always xxx
Gorgeous plants and great posts! Where do you usually purchase your plant pots from?
