The Little House of Hygge

The lovely ladies at The Little House of Hygge were kind enough to send me their April ‘Let’s Hygge’ Box. If you’ve been living under a rock and you’re not familiar with the term ‘Hygge’, the long and short of it is that it is a lifestyle – a lifestyle of all things cozy and warm and that is what The Little House of Hygge are all about.

They have a monthly box to help you get your Hygge on and this month’s box theme is ‘Chokolade’ and ‘Roses’ to help you indulge all senses and truly relax. Candles, chocolate, bath oil – what more could a girl want?

The best thing about these type of boxes are that you don’t know what you’re going to get until they arrive on your doorstep, so it’s like opening a box of presents – and it’s even better when you fall so deeply in love with something inside that you add it to your essentials going forward… that happened for me with the Oliverum Bath Oil Sample. Just one small sachet enough for one bath, and it changed my life! I am a bath girl through and through – I would have a bath every day if it wouldn’t give me a water bill through the roof, but I’ve never before tried bath oil and now like I feel like I’ve been depriving myself¬†for 26 years. Not only does it smell amazing – in fact the entire top floor of the house was filled with the aroma (even my boyfriend commented on how amazing it smelt – and that’s saying something), it actually left my skin feeling moisturised when I got out of the bath – it absorbs into your skin as you bathe. Amazing. So basically I then immediately had to purchase¬†the 250ml bottle – ladies this will change your life I promise you!

So that was my top pick from the box but not because the other’s weren’t lovely at all – what’s not to love, it’s like a pamper box for the perfect girls night in – hot chocolate, rose water mist, chocolate, a delicious fudge candle, tea, more chocolate, and even a sweet votive sourced from a Fair Trade project in Sri Lanka.

I loved my ‘Let’s Hygge’ Box, thank you The Little House of Hygge for spoiling me – they really do make a lovely treat for yourself or a thoughtful gift for a sister/mum/friend.

If subscription boxes aren’t your thing or you have your eye on one particular product they do sell items on their website too here – including my girl’s Lauren Aston’s Knitted throws!! They have fantastic taste see so be sure to check them out!
