You may have spotted a few weeks ago that I had my Christmas Tree up a little bit early… before Halloween early! But don’t worry, I’m not completely crazy, I was busy working on this post to share with you!
I’ve been decorating at Christmas with Cox & Cox ever since I moved into this house, seriously – check my archives, 2015, 2016, 2017, so I’m absolutely over the moon to be working with them to share their Scandi Blush Christmas Collection with you this year! Oh and did I mention that there’s a 20% off Cox & Cox code further down to help you get the look for less…

Our Christmas Tree. After years of switching between real trees and cheap faux Christmas trees, last year we finally invested in an authentically artificial one – the Blue Mountain Spruce Christmas Tree. Best decision we made, and it just so happens to be Cox & Cox too!

Twinkle twinkle little star. This year I decided to strip our Christmas tree back and instead of using traditional Christmas tree lights, I hung these star lights (which by the way are suitable for indoors and outdoors) on the tree instead, which I think is so much more effective! It’s a simple way to create a statement Christmas tree instantly!

Add the sparkle. I chose a range of different Christmas decorations from the Scandi Blush Collection to bring the tree to life, from baubles to birds and the subtle tones compliment the frosted tree perfectly, plus a few zinc hanging stars to add a bit of texture!

The topper. To tie in perfectly with the star lights placed on the tree, the light up tree topper was an obvious choice! I love the way the light reflects off the ceiling.

Festive foliage. My favourite flower to decorate over the festive period is the cotton flower, I have the cotton flower garland from last year’s collection so I had to get the wreath and the cotton sprays to complete the set!

Scandi skirt. I have struggled to find tree blankets that compliment my interior style in the past, there’s a lot of traditional options about but not much else, Cox & Cox’s blush faux fur throw is an easy and stylish alternative tree skirt – Alfie certainly approves!

Winter wonderland. Other than the Christmas tree, we stay fairly minimal with our Christmas decorations, but I always like to add some bits to the mantle piece and the coffee table and the brush trees were just the thing! Minimal with just the right amount of sparkle!

So do you like the Scandi Blush Christmas Collection? I absolutely love every piece – a huge thank you to Cox & Cox for another wonderful collaboration!
