Our bedroom has made quite the transformation over the years… from my first bedroom blog post here (me and chalk paint were bezzies) to the viral Scandi version here, I am often get asked how I would describe my interior style and it’s something I really struggle with since I don’t think I fit into just one. Our kitchen is quite minimal and Scandi, our living room is quite eclectic, our ensuite classic luxe and truth be told I have no idea what category I would put our new bedroom in – so I’m just gonna go with Pink velvet, gold and a splash of Dalmatian print. My interior style is ever-changing, evolving, growing with me, and who says you have to stick to just one? I think it’s fun this way – our home feels like it has multiple personalities as a result and I love that.
Anyway, I went off on a bit of a tangent there didn’t I? Soz. The bedroom is complete (pending new carpet being fitted so please ignore the floor and the skirting boards) and I could not be happier, of course, Dalmatian print is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea… I’ve discussed everything in more detail in the YouTube tour below (a huge thank you if you’ve already watched it) so I won’t send you to sleep and repeat what I’ve already said over there but I have linked everything at the bottom of this post – but drop me a comment below if I’ve missed anything x
