pink bed roundup

It’s no secret that I am a pink lover… so it probably comes as no surprise to you that I have spend hours online scouring for the best pink bed. It’s been nearly two years since I finished my Scandinavian Bedroom makeover (which by the way has had over 500,000 views to date *insert shocked face emoji*) but I’m itching to give it a refresh – a completely different look.

I’m busy working on a mood board for the new bedroom look, and part of that process has been looking for the perfect bed – and I’ve got my heart set on a pale pink upholstered bed. Of course there’s just one small problem – apparently Matt has a say in what bed we get and he reckons pink is completely emasculating (I have no idea why he thinks that). He’s still annoyed that a photo of my Scandinavian Bedroom went viral because everyone knows he sleeps in pink bed sheets…so I have to find a way around that small obstacle… I know I’m not on my own here by the way, I’ve had a huge amount of ladies messaging on Instagram to say their “my hubby says no to pink too”. Well do not fear. If I succeed, I promise to write a “How to convince the male in your life to allow you to inject pink furniture into your home” – seriously, you can hold me to that!

Anyway, I’m going off on a tangent… I’ve put together a round-up of what I think are the best pink upholstered beds online – but please do leave a comment below if you’ve seen a gorgeous pink beauty that I haven’t come across!

  1. OLIVIA BED – I can easily crown Sweet Pea & Willow with Best Luxury Bed Store. Sweet Pea & Willow honestly have the most amazing range of unique luxury furniture including beds – everything is completely customisable including the fabric and colour, which means every single bed they sell you can have made in this gorgeous Blossom Luxury Velvet’ Fabric. How perfect would the Ariel Upholstered Bed be in this fabric too? Hello dream mermaid bed. Everything from the headboard down to the wooden plinth is just stunning, and the icing on the cake – the brass corner details. Love. Plus this one is called Olivia – if that’s not fate I don’t know what is?’
  2. ASTRID BED – Because Sweet Pea & Willow have such a great range, they actually have two beds in this round-up. The Astrid bed has a real Scandinavian design feel to it with a simple button back headboard and natural wooden tapered legs it would look perfect in a more minimal setting.
  3. RUSTINGTON HEADBOARD – Mood Collections I actually only discovered yesterday and I’m so happy someone recommended their website to me. Design beds can be very expensive and a good way to get around this is to invest in a divan bed base that you can keep for years to come and then if you want to update the look of the bed, change the headboard. Mood Collections headboards are completely customisable again and are available with wall fixtures on request, so even if you don’t have a bed base that fits headboards, you can still make it work!
  4. MADEHURST BED – Mood Collections do however have a range of beds, so I couldn’t not mention this beauty. It’s got a more traditional Chesterfield design – but it’s the kind of design that will never really go out of fashion.
  5. SACRE COEUR FRENCH BED – If you are looking for a real statement Princess bed then look no further. I have absolutely no doubt that it would feel like you were waking up in France every morning in this bed. Just dreamy.
  6. SKYE BED – This baby is the most practical of the bunch – but still with a great design to it. It’s very similar to the bed I already have (see here) and is ideal for people like me that have too much stuff and not enough storage space – you have the entire space under the mattress for storage with the lift up design. MADE.COM always get it right!

I hope you enjoyed this round-up, I’m busy working on my mood board for the bedroom makeover – oh and speaking of mood boards, I’m so excited to be attending Topology’s Mood Board Workshop this Wednesday evening – April 11th at MADE.COM’s Birmingham Mailbox showroom, which I’m equally as excited about visiting as I’ve not been since they opened! There’s still tickets left HERE if you fancy attending too!
