9 Faux Flowers & Foliage You Need This Spring

Faux Flowers & Foliage

HAPPY EARTH DAY! I thought this would be a really appropriate post today, dedicated to me doing everything I can do to avoid being a serial house plant killer. I know I’m not the only one out there that just can’t seem to keep house plants alive, so far all I’ve kept alive is a cheese plant, a few orchids (although they don’t bloom every year) and a few succulents & cacti. I’ve recently been building up a collection of faux foliage plants and flowers too – because in the long run its actually cheaper and better for the Earth since I clearly wasn’t blessed with green fingers. So here’s a round up of my favourite faux flowers and foliage that I’ve come across so far!

First is my favourite out of them all. Faux Eucalyptus stems from Tilly & Sage. These are the most realistic ones that I have seen, not only are they massively on trend at the moment, they also make for great props (bloggers I know you love a bit of Eucalyptus in your flatlays!) They come as long 70cm stems but I just knew I had to have some in my Be&Liv vase so I cut a few to fit and with the left over stems I will keep them in my office ready for flatlays. The long stems as they come are perfect in a tall vase – and Tilly & Sage have the perfect jug for the job! A white marble pitcher – yes please. Teamed with some of their gorgeous faux blush roses.

Well I’ve recently become obsessed with hanging planters and I think these style of planters look best with hanging plants so I was delighted when I came across this faux Eucalyptus plant from Wayfair. It really is so realistic I want one in every room of the house…

The next couple of faux flowers are all from Hannah Halfpennie and all bunches come wrapped in brown paper just like if you went to your local florist, which is a really lovely touch.

It is so unlike me to have bright, colourful flowers in the house but I fell in love with this duo together. Pink Phlox & Viburnum look perfect together though don’t they? Simply perfect.

Peonies – like many females, Peonies are my absolute favourite flowers, I’m so excited that Peony season is finally here. But for the other 4 seasons of the year these faux Peonies fill the gap in my life.

Faux Magnolia from Home Colours. I have always loved Magnolia, and what better time of year to have some on display than Spring time? The perfect flowers to sit in my Catcooee vases from Room 356!

Faux String Of Pearls Stem from Wyld Home who have a seriously amazing range of botanicals, flowers and foliage. They do full pots of String of Pearls but I had real problems finding pots that would fit inside this hanging brass planter because the diameter is quite small, so individual stems were a much better option for me – this pot has two stems and it looks exactly how I imagined!
