Our Rattan Cane IKEA Wardrobe Hack for under £170 (I can’t find any online that are under £500 FYI – most start at over £1000), made by my brilliant husband @onthegramhandyman! We weren’t sure we were going to share this DIY as it was a make it up as you go along jobby, but we filmed it just in case and by popular demand after last week’s post, here it is! You will need:
- Ikea Wardrobe Carcass & Doors – we went with the Platsa Carcass & Sannidal Doors
- Rattan – ours is from here
- Moulding
- Planed wood for the base – 68mm x 18mm
- Door handles – we chose these handles
- No nails wood glue
- Circular saw
- Sandpaper
- Wood filler
- Paint
- Nails gun – or nails & a hammer
